Program Overview:
The incubation program will be curated and co-designed to meet your entrepreneurial development needs and business growth gaps, through a 3-Phase tailored journey. The 3-phases will be focused on:
IDEATION, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT/MINDSET & CAPACITY BUILDING
PRODUCT-MARKET FIT & PLOTTING YOUR ROAD-TO-MARKET
FUNDING, IMPACT & SCALE READINESS
We will be selecting just over 30 entrepreneurs for this Incubation journey and our selection process will include shortlisting 50+ entrepreneurs for our #BridgingtheGaps Innovation Challenge. In shortlisting entrepreneurs for the Innovation Challenge, we will be looking at the following areas as a guideline for evaluating applicants:
Incubation Readiness and Strong Entrepreneurial Mindset
Early-stage social enterprise and/or non-profits operating in the Food systems impacting marginalized communities or the informal economy
Well-tested/researched ideas with some validated proof of concept
Proven capacity/track record to generate revenue
Potential to create social, economic and environmental value/impact
Strong willingness to integrate/collaborate with women and/or youth in the Agri-Food value chain or through business operations.
